i . NAPIER, May 17. i A representative deputation from the recently-formed East Coast Railway League was introduced tti tlic Hon. R. McKenzie, Minister of. Public norks, tofday by Mr. J. Vigor Brown, M. 1., and urged the importance of a railway being constructed between Napier ana Gisborne. . .l ■ In the course of his reply Mi. McKenzie said that there were many questions which he had to., consider in connection with this line. The Government had to look at the fact that several ralways were urgently needed,. and lie was sorry the East Coast railway was not one'of these.
