■ West Australia is issuing a loan of £1,845,000 at 3i per cent, with a minimum of 06 V It has been underwritten on the usual terms.

The West Australian loan is repayable from 1835 to 1955, and lialf-a-year’s interest is payable on the Ist October. (Received May 21, 1 a.m.) PERTH, May 20. The State Treasurer, considering the general unsettled state of - affairs, i« satisfied with the loan flotation. Tho redemption cost about £3 16s 7d per cent." The loan is intended chiefly for railway and harbor works.
