The Montreal Hoard of Trade, by an overwhelming majority, rescinded the resolution cabled on May 14th. The speakers urged, adherence to resolutions of the fifth and sixth Congresses of the Empire.
[The rescinded resolution was in favor of Britain and the colonies granting one another substantial preference.]
