AUCKLAND, May 21. Inspector Cullen has received Avord from Constable Mathew, of Te Kuit-i, that a numoer of liquor! prosecutions Avere decided yesterday bv Mr. F. O. B.
Loughnan. For having kept liquor for sale Avithin prohibition areas, Charles Charlotte AV-as fined £SO and costs amounting to £s' 12s; Francis Keanes, £2O and £5 costs; J. M. Bird, £2O and costs £5 12s; and Frederick Hcnwood, recently a publican at Kihikihi, Avas fined 10s and costs amounting to £6 Bs, for having sold liquor after hours.
