FIRE AT AUCKLAND.
JOINERY WORKS BURNED.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 23. Messrs Henderson and Pollard’s joinery works at Mount Eden, and a dwelling house adjoining, were totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The building, stock, and machinery were valued at £3OOO, and the insurances amount to £IBOO in the Standard Company. The Kauri Timber Company’s yards adjoining had a very narrowescape.
