AUCKLAND, May 27. ' The question of Harbor Board rcpicsentation was brought up at the Farmers’ Union Conference to-day by Mr. J. Flanagan, of Drury, who moved, “That the franchise for the election or members for the Harbor Boards he so amended that the farmers shall have direct representations” He contended that the agricultural community was responsible for most of the exports, and should 1 have representation. lhe motion was carried.
