ACCIDENT TO H.M.S. POWERFUL.
ENGINE SHAFT FRACTURED. POSSIBLY DELAY FIJIAN CRUISE. United Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, May 27. When the flagship was undergoing an overhaul it was discovered there was a fracture, of the shafting of the port engine. It is supposed to have occurred on the voyage from Hobart. The renewal of the shafting will possibly interfere with tlie Powerful’s intended cruise, to Fiji.
