DUNEDIN, May 29. Mr. Ben Curtis, at one time owner of Casket, winner of the Great Easter Handicap, is dead.

A VETERAN DOCTOR

INVERCARGILL, May 29. Dr. Gregor, one of the first, and probably the most widely-known medical practitioner in the district, died last night, after an illness of some months’ duratipn. [Dr. Gregor had been a resident of Invercargill for upwards of forty-five, years.]
