MU MCNAB’9 CAMPAIGN.

PALMERSTON N., May 29. At a meeting convened by the Mayor, members of the Navy League and Volunteers and other officers expressed themselves strongly in favor of Mr McNab’s crusade. Arrangements were made for a meeting to be held in the Opera House on the 7th inst., which VLr McNab has agreed to address. TIMARU, May 29. Air McNab had a good meeting last night to listen to his address on universal military training. The Mayor presided. Several volunteer officers were present on the platform. Every reference to the necessity of compulsory training was applauded, as was the declaration that there ought to be no exemptions on account of occupations. A vole of thanks was moved by tbe Rev. Mr Baunibor and carried by acclamation.,
