Tlie cheese market is quiet, bi firm. Canadian supplies are increasing New Zealand white is quoted at 65. colored 675. .The hemp mai'ket is quit and sma-li business is doing. Holdei are firm. New Zealand, good, fair, o spot is at £23; fair grade on spot £2l I Os; fair current Manila, on spol £23; May to July shipments of Net Zealand, good fair grade, per ton £22 15s; New Zealand fair grade, per tor £2l 10s; fair current Manila. £22 10s The Manila output is 25,000 bales. Th cocksfoot seed market is dull. Buyer are not keen to do business, and que tations are normal. The average pricof bright, clean New Zealand seed 171bs per bushel, on spot, per cwt., i about 565. The wheat market is slight ly weaker, with less demand, but ther is no change in prices. The wool mar ket remains firm. The hop market i quiet, but there is a firm demand chiefly for medium quality.
