Dennis Samuel, brother of the Right Hon. Herbert Samuel (Under-Secretary to the Home Department), and a member of tho firm of Samuel, Montagu and Co., bankers, committed suicide on the Leamington railway, through nervous breakdown following an attack of influenza. Captain Boyer, of tho MessagenesMaritime’s steamer Dumbea, from I* remantle, who was suffering from neurasthenia after his vessel had collided with another steamer off Bombay,, disappeared overboard when passing Corsica.
