RUSSIA’S ALLEGED USURPATION.
DISQUIETING REPORTS AT
TEHERAN

TEHERAN, June 1.
Russians’ alleged usurpation of civil authority at Tabriz led Sata- Khan, Begir Khan, and other Nationalist leaders to take refuge in the Turkish Consulate. They were refused admission at the British Consulate.
There are disquieting reports at Teheran regarding the advance of Turkish regulars to Urumah. It is stated many Christians at Maindoab have been massacred. Armenians are appealing for protection.
