The recent prosecutions for violating the anti-trust laws resulted in the 'payment into court of fines totalling £l,000,000 for unlawful mining upon public land and for giving and accepting rebates.
employees of the American Sugar Refining Company were arrested in connection with the Customs frauds, but tlieir -share iwas only £3 weekly.
