QUEBEC, June 3
The Government of the Province of ’Quebec has decided that all wood pulp destined for the United States of ’America must be manufactured in Canada, when the wood is cut from Crown lands. The prohibition of the export bf pulp wood off the. public domain is due to the depletion of the United States forests, and the American Senate not acceding to Canada’s request to abolish the duty of five dollars per ton on news print.
