REYNOLDS—RUTLEDGE
A very dainty and fashionable wedding was celebrated at HoN lujiitj Church yesterday afternoon, when Miss Constance Mary Reynolds, fourth daughter of Mr R. J. Reynolds, of ••Sandowu.” Gisborne, was married to Mr. William L. Rutledge, eldest son of Mr William Rutledge, of Takapau. The decoration of the church was very effective, being carried out with white flowers and evergreens. the Yen. Archdeacon Williams officiated, and -Ui E N. Sidebottom presided at the organ. There was a. large attendance of friends and guests and as the weddino- partv drove off from the church a long train of carnages and motor cars followed. . The bride, who was charmingly attired n\ a , white chiffon moire, with lace and peart trimmings, wore the customary veffi and a handsome coronet of orange soms. She was given awav bv hex mthci Air R. J. Reynolds, the bridesmaid iioin tT Miss Dorothy Rutledge, sister of the bridegroom, Miss A olande Sunderland, cousin of the bride, who wore pretty dresses of pale blue, with trimmings and black crinoline hats, ■md little Miss Eve Gaddum, neice of the bride, in white. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Jack Rutledge, brother of the bridegroom, as best man and Air R. Reynolds, brother ot th bride as groomsman. A reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, and a large number of guests entertained. Mr” and Airs Rutledge will leave lor Auckland on Saturday morning.
