The ninth wicket fell for 128. iHartigan obtained his score in 75 minutes, 'having a serviceable partner* with AVhitty. The innings lasted 275 minutes. Leicester lost the first wicket for 2. The game was very slow. The third wicket fell for 24. Crawford and Coe, with a careful partnership raised the total to 75 before the fourth wicket fell. Though generally considered weak, this county was the only one to score over 300 against Yorkshire last season. Whitehead, one of Leicester’s host hats, had a had. season last year. .Astill bowls with a -good deal of variety of pace and break. Surrey—Lost by 5 runs. .C.C.—-Lost by 3 wickets. Oxford University—Drawn, First Test Match (Birmingham)—Lost by 10 wickets. Leicester—Drawn. Matches played 8, won 2, lost 3, drawn 3. THE CAMBRIDGE TEAM. (Received June 3, 9.5 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 3. The Cambridge University team for to-day’s match is as follows:—Buchanan, Falcon, McLeod, Olivier, Ireland, Mann, Collins, Tufnell, Lockhart, Mason, and one still to be picked. [D. C. Collins, one of the above team, is a New Zealander, being the son of a. Wellington doctor. Ido recently scored 113 and 138 in a match for Cambridge.!
