WOODVILLE, June 5. At the licensing meeting yesterday the whole of the licenses in the district were renewed with the exception of the iHerbertvilleg,Hotel, which was adjourned for three montlis to allow a- transfer of""- the license. The Aohunga Ferry accommodation license fee was raised from £5 to £20., A couple of licensees were severely warned re personal conduct. Annual meetings will in future be bold at Pahiatua. The chairman (Mr. James, S.M.) highly complimented Constable Broenalian, clerk of the committee for the last eleven years, and now retiring, on the splendid efficiency of his work.
