The international miners’ conference at Berlin congratulates British miners on tho Eight Hours Act. It insisted •that hours should be reckoned from hank to bank, and demanded similar legislation to that of other countries, with restriction of the working day to ■six hours where the temperature is 82 ‘degrees.
