WELLINGTON. June 10. To-night’s “Gazette” notifies that tho period within which the Timber Commission must present its report is extended to July 10th. Recognition is gazetted of the appointment- of Mr. Tlmmas Young as Consul for Japan at Wellington. It is notified that a bonus of three pence per gallon (£6250) will bo paid on the first 500,000 gallons of mineral oil produced in New Zealand. A fresh list of railway regulations is published at length in the “Gazette.”
