They are enthusiastic as to Germany’s peaceful disposition. One hundred and forty clergy and ministers, returning the .visit of German pastors to England, had a greatreception at Berlin. GERMAN IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. A DECREASE LAST YEAR. (Recoived June 13, 5.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 12. Air. Winston Churchill, in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said that .excluding in each case bullion and specie, Germany’s corrected imports for 1908 for home consumption were 531 million sterling below those of 1907, and there was a decrease in exports of domestic merchandise and produce of 221 millions.
