HIS BEQUEST TO M LOUBET REFUSED. THE FUNERAL PROCESSION. United Press Association —Copyright y PARIS, June 11. The bequest of £20,000 made by the late M. Chauehard, proprietor of the Magasins du Louvre, Paris, to M. Emile Loubet, ex-President of tho French Republic, was due to M. Loubet signing a decreo whereby M. Chauehard became a member of tho Legion of Honor. M. Loubet has refused the bequest, which goes to the. hospital fund.

There was an enormous concourse at the funeral. The body was buried in a waistcoat covered with pearl buttons worth half a million francs. The behavior of the crowd was disrespectful and many snatched flowers from the bier.
