DAMAGE ONI THE SOUTH COAST. A CHURCH BLOWN OVER. United Press Association— Copyright •SYDNEY, Juno 14. The gale did considerable damage throughout the South Coast districts. At Thuroel the storm lifted a church off tho piles and canted it over. The congregation were inside, but no one was injured. The weather is bitterly cold. Snow has fallen at Kianora. MELBOURNE, June 14. Tho Peninsula and Oriental Company’s mail steamer Macedonia, from Adelaide, met the full force of the gale, and was hove-to for. several hours. Mountainous seas swept the decks, and smashed tho ports. The cabins were flooded. ADELAIDE, June 14. Heavy general rains have occurred.
