A conference is being arranged tor Thursday of next week between the executive officers of the New Zealand Amatour Athletic Association and MiRichard Ooombes, Australasian ropicsentative on the International Board that controls the Olympic games. It is desired to obtain a special representative fob New Zealand on the Boaid. Another matter that will be discussed by the Association’s representatives next Thursday will be the proposed New Zealand representative team foi the Australasian championship meeting at Tho *Council is experiencing financial trouble through the extraordinary delay on tlie part of the clblunct Council, which: once existed at Clirifitohuieh, in handin« r over to the official body the funds which it was ordered to dispose of in this manner.
