(Per Pross Association./ rm i HASTINGS, June 17. Iho weather was fine but dull to-day for tho second day of tho Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s winter meeting. The attendance was good. A sum of £6020 passed through the totalisator, making £12,065 for tho two days, as compared with £12,540 last year. Thirteen bookmakers were on the ground. Gold Dust led for a short distance, then fell back into third place, hut came again on tho flat in the run home, and won by a neck. Time, 3 rnin 5 3-oscc. Time, lmin 55 3-ssee. This is tho first time on record that tho Bracelet and Necklace were won by the same horse, jockey, and owner at tho Hawke’s Bay winter meeting.
