Perks' has initiated a scheme of interchange of Methodist preachers between Britain and Canada, and for the proper distribution of Methodist immigrants. [Sir R. W. Perks is M.P. for. the. Louth Division of Lincolnshire, and son of the late Rev. G. T. Perks at one time president of the English Methodist Conference. He was for 2o years a solicitor, but latterly has been a mem-, her of the large contracting firm of C H Walker and Co. He is a leader in Liberal .and Methodist circles in .-[England-] •' ' V'.,- .
