DROWNING FATALITY.
SUPPOSED SUICIDE
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 18
Edward Dillon, aged 18 years, has been drowned in the harbor. The circumstances of tli© cas© seem to point to the fact, that the young follow, who is described by his foster-father as being “peculiar,” took his own life in a fit of passion, after, having quarrelled with his guardians. Young Dillon was the-adopted son of Mr. P. E. Dillon, of Ponsonby. The latter states that the last time ho saw the boy was shortly after seven o’clock last night. The hoy and Mrs. Dillon disagreed over something, and young Dillon wont out on to the verandah. Mr. Dillon followed hint <mt to try and pacify him, but lie was deaf to all advances. Id all entreaties to come inside the house lie answered “No, never.” He then ran away down the street. A pair of slipners he was wearing were found about 50 yards down the street. Ibis rnoniing his body was found floating m the harbor. , .... A
