PRESENTATION TO VERY REV FATHER) KEOGH.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 2i. At a public meeting to-night, tho Very Rev. Father ICeogh, for the £ ast nine years rector of St. Patrick’s Julege, who is leaving to become pans a priest at Hastings/ was presented with an address from the citizens of Wellington and a purse of over one hundred sovereigns. Tho presentation was made by Dr. Cahill, who spoke m high terms of the work leather Iveogh i is done at St. Patrick’s College. Father Keogh, in returning thanks, said that he was perfectly satisfied that the v ork ho was leaving behind him would be better* carried out by his successor, Father Kennedy, of Meance.
