It will traverse staff estate, go through McCarrolle s Gap. and over Northern Wairoa river, Which is there navigable, north of Darcvaville, joining the original route m the Mangakaliia Valley. The Minister for- Railways says the evidence is overwhelming in favor of tins route, which will serve three times the population of the other routo, and there is more, timber and more stock.
