A SUBSTITUTE FOR PETROL. SAID TO BE LESS COSTLY. United Press Association —Copyright LONDON, June 21. The Earl of Shrewsbury and otiiers are developing as a substitute for petrol a new English product, named “homil,” from waste products, claimed to be about' half the cost of petrol, more economical in use, and to have less smell.
