IMPERIAL BUDGET.
LORD ROSEBERY’S LETTER, CONDEMNS THE BUDGET. Unit ico Press Association— Corvuicm'. LONDON, June 22. Lord Roseberju in a letter to the papers, states that Mr Lloyd-George’s Budget is a social and political revolution of the first magnitude. Whatever its merits it will effect vast changes without the faintest desire or attempt to ascertain the people’s views. The country has changed its character if it fails to see that the absolute rule of the party in power differs little from the depotism of individuals. It was a .sinister symptom if the former jealous vigilance in regard to the people’s liberties were replaced by apathy. DISORDERLY SCENE IN THE HOUSE.
