DUNEDIN, June 23.
At the Police Court this. morning, Richard H. Jenkins received two months’ imprisonment, and Charles Yeo nine months’ imprisonment on a charge- of broaching cargo on the -Mama ri on the- high seas. Accused weK» seamen on board the steamer.
James Nicholls, a seaman, was sentenced to six months’ hard labor on a charge of stealing stout from the hold of the barque Lakemba at Port Chalmers.
