NAPIER PARK RACES. (Per Press Association. NAPIER, June 24. There was dull and cold weather today for the second day of the Napier Park Racing Club’s winter meeting, and the attendance was moderate. The investments on the total sator amounted to £5809, making £71,198 for the two days, as compared with £12,609 for last year’s winter meeting. Tho following were the results: Brooldands Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs.—Mundic 11.7, 1; Zoraida 9.7, 2; Rohepotae 9.0, 3. Also started : Timothy, Splash, The Limit, Cork, Resign, and' Master Stent. Won by three lengths. Time., lmin 19 3-ssec. Waiohiki Hack Hurdles, 1£ miles.— Diplomatic 10.4, 1; Itawhiti 10.2, 2; Forest 11.10, 3. Also started : Andrew Mack, Monsieur Beaucaire, Pukehou, and No Shot..:', Won by three lengths. Time, 2min 56 l-ssec. Winter Oats, 7 furlongs.—lranui 10.2, 1; Woodhey 10.13, 2; Illustrious 9.4, 3. Also started: Waikaraka, Iney, Uenuku, Mussel, and Hydraulic. Won by six lengths, pulling up. Time, lmin 34 3-ssec. Park Steeplechase, about 2| miles. — Lingerer 10.7, 1; Coy 9.7, 2; Needlework 10.4, 3. Also started: Post Haste 10.2, Eldorado 9.13, Gold Shower 9.7, and Coy 9.7. Gold Shower had a strong lead for over a mile, when the lead was taken by Lingerer, who was not aftenvards troubled, winning by twenty lengths. Eldorado fell, and Gold Shower unseated his jockey, after being passed by Lingerer. Time, smin 36 l-ssec.

Ladies’ Bracelet, 1 mile. —Zoraida 11.4, 1; The Squatter 11.11, 2; Waioriki 11.2, 3. Also started: Water o’Milk, Claughton, Perchance, Colossus, and Girton. Won by a dozen lengths. Time, lmin 52 3-ssec. Poraite Handicap Hurdles, If miles. —Corazon 10.1, 1; Commander 10.11, 2; Somali 9.0, 3. Only tho three star--ted. Won by a couple of lengths. Time, 3min 35 2-ssec. Newstead Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs.—Waipunui 10.2, 1; Rohepotao 9.0, 2- Guiding Step 10.7, 3. Also started: Marathon, Sealer, Cork, and Amato. Won by a short head. Time, lmin 34 3-ssec.
