THE VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT’S DECISION. TO WORK ON DR. NORRIE’S LINES Onitljd Punas Association —Copyright MELBOURNE, July 1. The State Government propose to combat consumption on the lines suggested by Dr Norrie. These provide observation and classification of cases; for the treatment of more advanced but- not hopeless cases; '-and invalid homes for advanced and hopeless cases. Industrial settlements, Dr. Norrie states, will form the coping stone of a complete system for the stamping out of tuberculosis. At present there are 2000 consumptives in Victoria.
