SOLELY TO PROTECT FOREIGNERS United Press Association— Copyright (Received July 5, 1.15 a.m.) TEHERAN, July 4, While adhering to non-interference in Persia’s internal affairs, Russia has sent a regiment of Cossacks, a battalion of infantry, and a battery of artillery to Kasvin in readiness to protect the Europeans at Teheran in the event of the continued advance and the Bakhtins and others precipitating disturbances and endangering the safety of foreigners.
