HORSE SALES. There wasi only a small yarding of horses at Messrs Williams and-Kettle’s weekly sale on Saturday. The demand was weak, and only a few of the poorer class hacks were sold. PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at tlieir produce sales bn Saturday:—Hens Is 3d to 2s 6d, roosters Is 6d to. 2s, turkeys 5s Gd to 10s, butter lOd, eggs Is 5d to Is 7d, pears 2s 9d 201 b case, apples 10s case, pumpkins 2s 6d doz, melons 3s to ss, carrots and parsnips Is 6d doz bundles, cabbages Is 6d to Is 9di doz, onions 7s 6d cwt, Canterbury potatoes 7s 6d cwt, £6 10s ton, local potatoes 9s to 10s. per sack, horse carrots 3s sack, honey 3d to oil per lb. Messrs Miller and Craig report the following prices realised at their produce sale on Saturday :—liens Is 3d to 2s Id, roosters Is to 2s 6d, ducks Is 8d to 2s, turkeys 3s 6d to os, pumpkins A doz marrows Is 6d doz, onions Id , Is Oil doz, butter lid to Is, honey 4Jd Jb.
