CANADIAN TARIFF
EFFECT ON AMERICAN FIRMS. PUTTING MACHINERY IN CANADA United Puess Association —copyhiqiit. OTTAWA, July 6. An American Consular report states that the Canadian tariff has resulted in 150 American firms putting, 175 million dollars worth of plant in Canada, including agricultural and shoemaking machinery and sawmills.
