SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Tho following team has been selected to represent Poverty Bay against Mangatu on Saturday next:—Fullback, E. Luttrell; three-quarters, R. Campbell, Tocker, D. Miller; fiveeighths, Kaipara ■ and Rowe; nali, Flatman; forwards, Stagpoole (wing), Nicolas, Beach, Bragge, Shepherd, Delaney, A. McKenzie, and C. Winter. Emergencies, Hansen and Morse (forwards), Somervell and Witty (backs). The following team will represent Mangatu in their match against Poverty Bay on Saturday Full-back, Bust: three-quarters. Parkinson, Fitzgerald, Wogan; five-eights, Watene Ruha and Romeo Wi Repa; half, AV. Fisher; wing forward, R. Morphy; forwards, H. Redmond, D. Spenoe, J- Dellow J. Lynch, W. Barnett, M. Campbell', and E. Moss; emergencies, A. Campbell, Sox, Bartholomew, and L. Spence. REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Referee’s Association held last evening, the- following referees were appointed to control the .games on Saturday:—Country, Mr. A. Pritchard; Town, second grade Mr. VV. McCredie; third grade, Mr. H. Carr. Referees have not yet been appointed for the Poverty Bay-Mangatu or Gis-borne-Tologa Bay matches.
