ITS USE IN DIVINE SERVICE. DECISION OF CONVOCATION. United Press Association—Copyright. (Received July 8, 10 p.m:) LONDON, July 8. The Lower House of Convocation of tho Province of Canterbury debated the question of the optional, instead of compulsory, recital of tho Athanasian Creed, and recommended the retention of the creed without the existing rubric ; also making provision for the liturgical use of the creed without the warning clauses. A committeo was appointed to consider how this may best be done.
