THE GOVERNMENT’S BUDGET LEAGUE. TO CONFER WITH MINISTERIAL EDITORS. United- Press Association— : C?opyiugiit (Received July 8, 10 p.m.) LONDON, July 8. The new Liberal organisation, tlie Budget League, inspired apparently by the example of the Empire editors’ great gathering, has invited Liberal editors from London and the provinces to a conference at London to-morrow, when the League’s executive will seek advice as to the best methods of conducting a campaign, for explaining Mr. Lloyd-George’s proposals, - throughout the country. Mr. Asquith lias invited the editors to meet him at Downing Street after their deliberations. Many mass meetings have already been arranged.
