The new Liberal organisation, tlie Budget League, inspired apparently by the example of the Empire editors’ great gathering, has invited Liberal editors from London and the provinces to a conference at London to-morrow, when the League’s executive will seek advice as to the best methods of conducting a campaign, for explaining Mr. Lloyd-George’s proposals, - throughout the country. Mr. Asquith lias invited the editors to meet him at Downing Street after their deliberations. Many mass meetings have already been arranged.
