Consolidated Goldfields —19s and ISs Progress —13s and 11s 6d. THE NEW ALPINE MINE. GREYMOUTH, July 9. The New Alpine mine manager reports for the week ending July 6th as follows: —Stoping was continued above No. 14 level, and the reef remains unchanged from last report, except in stopes 5 and 6, where the reef has pinched to 4ft Gin coming north, but this is where the reef jumps back into the foot wall, as shown in No. 7 stope. In No. 6 stope, going south, the reef still continues, and is 3ft in width, but i expect wo are nearing the end of the block. Two hundred and fifty-three tons were, produced,, making a total oi 996 tons. New keys were fitted in the Pel ton at No. 10 winze to-day/ and we -will make a start to-morrow to overhaul both cages, as the. rivets are going loose, and some small parts want renewing. ' .
