An affray between two Chinamen occurred this morning. All Bon and Luo Soo, inmates of one but, were found cutting at each other until axes. Ah Ben had his skull fractured and was badlv cut about, but when neighbors came in Lue Soo was underneath and All Ben cutting at him- Lue Soo says Ah Ben woke him up by hitting him with an axe. Ah Ben afterwards collapsed, and was taken to the hospital. Lue Soo, charged with assault, was remanded. Ah Ben’s wounds are not considered likely to prove fatal.
