The offer of the Turanganui Bowling Club to lease a portion of the reserve adjoining their present green, for a term of 14 years, was accepted by the Borough Council last night. •' The recently elected committee of the Turanganui Club meet at the Record Reign Hotel at 7 o’clock to-mor-row night, when sub-committees for the ensuing season will be appointed. A number of other matters dealing with improvements to the green will also be' dealt with.
