Tho Socialists induced the FrenchChamber, by 441 to 77, to make it obligatory on members to sign a time sheet daiily, members failing to sign for six consecutive sittings to have their salaries, stopped. M.M. Pelleton and Brisson protested, and th© newspapers ridicule the resolution, asserting that it reduces tho Chamber to the level of an assembly of schoolboys. .
