POVERTY BAY CLUB. There was a very large attendance of members of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club at the adjourned general meeting, which was held in the Cosmopolitan Club last night. . , The principal business of the meetino- was to consider arrangements regarding the proposed new clubhouse. All the members present were elected a “building committee,” and it was decided that members be requested to pay their subscriptions for the ensuing year before August 19th. ' In response to an appeal, the sum of £4O was promised in the room towards the building fund, and it was decided that the' committee meet on Friday evenings.
