ALCOHOLISM.

An international congress on alcoholism has been opened at Kensington. Many foreign delegates are present. Sir John Cockburn, representing the Commonwealth, said that the children of Australian State schools were instructed in scientific temperance.
Sir H. Tozer (Queensland) said he hoped the congress would deal with the question of alcoholism among natives.
