McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, in reply to Air. Craig, said that £150,000 W'ould be paid thirty years, at the rate of £SOOO annually, to the Auckland diy dock. The subsidy -was granted with the view of getting the dock properly- equipped. The only other subsidised dock is that at Colombo.
