ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE RIRORIROS. His Majesty’s Theatre was well filled last night when the Riroriros again gave a very acceptable .programme. In the action songs, the company went through the pieces with painstaking care, but without the least sign of stiffness. One of the best action songs was entitled “Rally round the Flag." “Boys will bo Boys" was of exceptional merit, the actions and grimaces of the girls as they entered into the chorus being distinctly humorous. Major Holdaway’s two little boys received well merited applause for their recitation, “The Story of an Apple." Musical selections on- fairy glasses, hand bells, and musical boxes' were greatly appreciated, and the scarf drill and umbrella drill were deservedly applauded for the dainty and pretty manner in which they were executed. The character songs '*‘Little Washerwomen,” in which several of the small girls, dressed as washerwomen went through the performances of washing clothes, and “The Fire Brigade" were well given. _ All the other items were very creditable, and kept the audience in a good mood from start to finish. The Riroriros this evening will give another performance, when the Theatre should be again well filled.

GEACH-MARLOW DRAMATIC CO. On Monday next the Geach-Marlow Dramatic Company will produce Frank M Tborne’s sensational drama, “The Woman Pays." This play is of the emotional order, as the title may denote, and has had wonderful success in the Commonwealth and in all the cities of the Dominion. In Auckland recently hundreds of people were turned awav nightly. Included in a long cast are Miss Ethel Buckley (Austraha s premier comedienne), and Mr. Robert Inman (the favorite leading man), ihe scenery is said to be very fine, and some charming sets are shown, particularly Sedgecliffe Church, the watenall, and" the shipwreck. On Tuesday, 2/th inst., Mrs. Henry Woods’ famous work “East Lynne” will be staged. The plan of reserved seats is now open at Mr. Miller’s.
