.. The Scotch miners and coal mine masters met at the Board of Trade. The masters agreed to suspend the notices of reduction of wages for a week. '■

A small committee, consisting of masters and men,, for meeting the Miners’ . Federation of Britain, has been appointed to consider the wages question and report to the, conference.

The Scotch miners’ ballot was almost unanimously in favor of a general stoppage of work throughout Britain. Hie Northumberland miners , voted solidly in favor of a strike.
