THE LUCIO DISQUALIFICATION
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. In the matter of the appeal by the Avondale Jockey Club against a decision of the Auckland Metropolitan Committee, who refused to’ endorse a disqualification for life imposed upon Norman Cunningham in connection with the running of the horse Lncio at the spring meeting of the Avondale Jockey Club in September, 1908, the judges, having considered all the evidence submitted to them, upheld the appeal of the Avondale Jockey Club, and being satisfied that the decision of the Avondale Jockey Club was justified, they disqualified the said Norman Cunningham- and the horse Lucio for life.
