TROL RUSSIAN BANKS

The “Standard’s” St. Petersburg correspondent states that a group of London financiers hare acquired control of a combination of Russian banks, with 70 European and Asiatic branches, and intend developing Anglo-Russian economic relations, to the exclusion of the German financial groups hitherto all powerful in Russia.
